It's almost time for the beginning of the final chapter of the "The Crown".
Part 1 of Season 6 is set to begin streaming Nov. 16 on Netflix, with the second part expected to release a little less than a month later on Dec. 14.
The Emmy-winning blockbuster series presents a fictionalized account of the life of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II. While Season 6 will cover major royal events from 1997-2005 (including the wedding of King Charles III and Camilla, Diana's relationship with Dodi Fayed, the Queen's Golden Jubilee and the budding university romance between Prince William and Kate Middleton), the first part will focus more on Diana.
"Season 6 will continue with Princess Diana’s story, with the first four episodes exploring the events surrounding her tragic death in 1997," Netflix said in a press release.
The streaming platform said on Tudum that Season 6, Part 1 will close "the chapter on one of the series’ most iconic characters: Princess Diana."
